The progress continues.  Many of the cosmetic touches seem to be in place.  I was playing in the Turkey Shoot today so I heard people saying to expect the new clubhouse to be open just after the new year.  I’d really like to get some photos inside but I don’t know if anyone will let me.

As mentioned above, I played in the BMGC Turkey Shoot today.  I had the honor of being teamed with Larry Hilmo Dave Shafer and Todd Starks.  We came in tied for 5th.  I don’t know if that wins a turkey but I was happy to have a chance.  I expect you’ll be able to see the results on the BMGC Website and then clicking “results” (for a limited time only).

Since I rarely play on a Saturday, I was also able to shoot a small bit of video of men working on the clubhouse.  It’s not much to see, but you can click here to go to the De Bell Golf YouTube.com page to see it.

David – Indeed you did win a turkey. OK, actually it’s a $20 gift card from Ralphs. It became quite a hassle to purchase 30+ frozen turkeys and then find somewhere to store the unclaimed birds. Thanks for coming out and playing, though. Glad you had a good time out there. I sent the results over to the webmaster yesterday, so I’m guessing it’ll be on the website shortly.
